Your 2016 Wedding Ceremony

Have you thought about a theme for your wedding ceremony? What fits your personal style and the formality you wish to present? A Country Club will have a more formal feel than a backyard, and an indoor wedding will give you more opportunity to decorate in the theme of your choice than a park with trees, flowers, ponds, etc., unless of course, that IS your theme.

Why is theme important? Having a theme saves you time, money and effort as you easily decide on the best decor, colors and finishing touches. Would you spend hundreds of dollars on fancy chandeliers for your backyard tent if you're having a BBQ and country wedding ceremony? Of course you wouldn't. Does your theme matter for your wedding ceremony? Of course it does! I use your theme to give me ideas for quotes and readings.

Need ideas for a theme? Go with what you enjoy and brings a smile to your face. Your budget is a big consideration, as well. I have a budget worksheet available for free! Ideas for a theme can be found in your favorite movie, era (think 50's or 70's) Do you both like cars? Horses? Hunting? What about your culture? Imagine the fun of an Irish themed wedding with shamrocks and Leprechauns! Or a Mexican wedding ceremony complete with a lazo and 13 gold pieces. Are you more into nature? The possibilities are endless!
